Ben Pearson hydraulic pipe/tube bending machine The MC59 is designed for exhaust and pipe fabrication and can bend up to 3-inch pipe, with up to 180° bends on a 5-inch radius. It uses a hydraulic ram and interchangeable, color-coded bending dies. Huth Ben-Pearson Main parts visible in your machine Hydraulic ram/cylinder - pushes the bending die. Bending die - the large die around which the pipe is formed. Back shoes / clamp shoes - hold and guide the pipe during bending. Color-coded dies - different sizes/radii for different pipe diameters. RAM IN / RAM OUT controls - retract or extend the hydraulic ram. Hydraulic pump and motor - provide the bending force. End-forming/swaging tooling - allows pipe ends to be expanded or reduced.
