Description
is a high-end, heat-exchanger espresso machine known for its excellent build quality, commercial-grade features, and quiet operation.
Key Features and Specifications
E61 Brew Group: Features the iconic, solid chrome-plated ECM brew group (E61 style) which provides excellent temperature stability and enables pre-infusion.
Heat Exchanger Boiler: Equipped with a 2.1-liter stainless steel heat exchanger boiler, allowing for simultaneous brewing and powerful milk steaming.
Rotary Pump: The quiet rotary pump makes it suitable for home use and allows for the machine to be plumbed directly into a water line.
Switchable Water Source: The Profi model allows users to switch between using the internal 3-liter water reservoir and a direct water connection, offering installation flexibility.
Build Quality: Reviewers consistently praise the "Rolls-Royce" quality, noting the high-grade polished stainless steel body, continuous frame (no welds on the drip tray support), and use of copper and braided stainless steel tubing internally.
Joystick Valves: Features professional joystick-style lever valves for instant access to steam and hot water, which are easy to use.
Pressure Gauges: Includes dual gauges for monitoring both pump (extraction) pressure and boiler (steam) pressure, conveniently mounted at the top of the machine.
User and Expert Opinions
Exceptional Coffee Quality: Owners report that with the right technique and a good grinder, the machine produces café-quality coffee and rich, thick crema.
Durability and Serviceability: The robust construction and use of the standard E61 group head design mean the machine is built to last and easily serviced with widely available parts, a major plus for long-term ownership.
Aesthetics: The machine is often described as a work of art due to its tight tolerances, curved edges, and mirror finish, making it a visually appealing addition to any kitchen.
