Description
I found it going through stored electronics I have.
Lighlty used if i remember. I remember buying it from sharafdg a while ago but i didnt need it much so i stored it away.
You can run software to check the health of SSDs and HDDs. I ran the well-know crystaldiskonfo program and it reported the health was GOOD. You can test it yourself.
Works perfectly. Perfect condition with no flaws. Just have no need for it. Maybe I will regret selling it given how expensive storage has become if i ever need one lol
In this age, you would use something like this(a traditional HDD) to offload the contents of your fast m. 2 nvme ssd to clear more space on it instead of having to keep buying expensive m. 2 NVMEs everytime your nvme drive fills up. This is what I do with another external HDD I own. Everytime my primary m. 2 nvme fills up, I offload its contents to an HDD, instead of having to buy another m. 2. Or for simply storing large files that doesn't need to take space on your primary fast m. 2 nvme.
NOTE: although it is markated as a 5TB drive, the actual size on the drive on windows(of any drive you buy) will always be lower(shows 4.54TB for this drive). Thats because storage companies adverties in METRIC units to be friendly to consumers and for advertized speeds to go up in increments of 1000. While windows calculates storage space in BINARY, with increments of powers of 2. Thats why there is always a difference between the advertised capacity and capacity on windows. Both numbers are technically correct. Describing the same capacity. Just in two different units. 4TB drives usually show up as 3.6TB and so on.
